If you have ordered the harness online , you can check if it fits well by looking at whether the top (X) lies nicely flat, whether the buckles where the X and the Y are attached lie nicely, whether there is room for a few fingers between the armpit and the strap of the harness part behind it, and whether you can fit a flat hand between the harness and the dog's ribs. Of course, the throat must also lie free. Furthermore, use your common sense😊.
