1. First clean your dog's ears, for example with the Lila Loves It ear cleaner
2. Let the ears rest for about 1 hour 
3. Warm the gel to body temperature
4. Carefully apply 1 to 3 drops of gel into the ear flap using the dropper or a cotton bud
5. Massage the base of the ear gently from the outside
